Job Readiness
NFCC believes that with an adequate livelihood other problems can more easily be addressed. Our Job Coaching services include both individualized job coaching and group-centered learning activities to help individuals become better job candidates for job placement.
GED Preparation: A better job candidate has a high school diploma or a GED. These classes are designed to prepare participants to pass the GED exam. Students work at their own pace individually or with a tutor.
Job Readiness: Individualized coaching on skills assessment, completing an application, resume writing, job search, and more. Workshops are also available to provide the tools necessary to find and keep a job.
Job Coaching Schedule
Every Thursday of each month beginning at 10:30am to get help with your resume, interviewing, job board navigation, applications and more. Sign up for a 45 minute session while you wait for food or financial assistance.
Sign up early, space is limited!
Children are not allowed during coaching sessions.
Job Readiness classes, including GED preparedness and computer training, are scheduled on our current class schedule when offered.
