Welcome to NFCC! Volunteers at NFCC work together with staff to support our families and our Mission: To build self-sufficiency and prevent homelessness and hunger in our community by providing emergency assistance and enrichment programs.

Our volunteers participate in a variety of opportunities in our Office, Thrift Store and Food Pantry and other areas. We ask that volunteers complete our Volunteer Request Form and plan to serve a minimum of three (3) hours in these areas. Individuals interested in becoming a volunteer instructor or tutor are asked to complete a Volunteer Instructor Application.

Volunteers must be 13 years of age or older with a parent or an adult. 16+  may volunteer without adult supervision. Volunteer Instructors must be at least 21 years of age. If you are under our age requirement and would like to support our agency, we encourage you to click on this link for project ideas.  All volunteers must complete a Volunteer Waiver Form.

Our seasonal programs are annual events that require  additional volunteer support. Included are Back To School, Health and Wellness Fair, Warm Coat Day, and Holiday (Thanksgiving, Family Sponsorship, and Santa Shop). Click here to learn more.
