The Education Services at NFCC provide life skill and adult literacy classes that build self-sufficiency.
The Adult Education Center offers classes in English, Citizenship, GED test preparation, OSHA Safety Certification, computer literacy and more. Life skill classes and services are also available in money managemen,t job coaching and career mentoring.
We partner with several government and local agencies to provide government benefits screenings and application processing for economic support programs like Medicaid and Food Stamps; free VITA Income Tax Preparation, and more.
Our Education services are free and open to the public, space permitting, after NFCC client registrations. Childcare is provided for evening and Saturday classes.
