The Education Services at NFCC provide classes and services that build self-sufficiency.
The Adult Education Center offers workforce readiness and literacy classes in English, Citizenship, GED test preparation, MOS Certifications, OSHA Safety Certification, computer literacy and more. Life skill classes and services are also available in money management and job and career coaching with job placement assistance. We partner with several government and local agencies to provide government benefits screenings and application processing for economic support programs like Medicaid and Food Stamps; free VITA Income Tax Preparation, WIOA post-secondary education screening, and Healthcare Marketplace application processing.
Our Education services are free and open to the public, space permitting, after NFCC client registrations. Childcare is provided for evening and Saturday classes. Click here for the Current Class Schedule or to register for a class.
