Community Champions is an NFCC blog series recognizing the individuals, businesses, and organizations whose generosity, leadership, and commitment help strengthen our mission and community across North Fulton.
Arvelle’s passion is simple: making technology more accessible to people who need it.
Through his nonprofit, he collects donated computers and gives them to individuals and families who may not otherwise have access to technology and digital resources.
For Arvelle, that work is deeply connected to education and opportunity.
“Education and sharing are the most powerful things,” he shared. “Technology helps us learn quicker, do things faster, and gives people access to opportunities.”
As he continued collecting computers, Arvelle realized he needed a way to connect those resources to people in the community who could truly benefit from them.
That’s when he reached out to NFCC.
After visiting campus and seeing the work happening firsthand, something clicked.
“I fell in love with NFCC,” he said. “I didn’t realize they were doing all of this.”
What impacted him most was realizing how many people may not know help, resources, and opportunities like this exist right in their own community.
That realization inspired him to do more than donate.
It inspired him to share.
Arvelle believes one of the most powerful things people can do is openly talk about the causes and organizations they care about so others can get involved too.
“The impact happens when people are honest and transparent about what they’re doing in their lives,” he shared. “Don’t hide it.”
That spirit is exactly what Community Champions Week is all about. When people share what they care about, generosity grows. When people get involved, communities grow stronger. When people work together, neighbors thrive.
