Donor Privacy Policy
NFCC donor information is a very important part of our relationship with you, and we treat it with great care and respect. We will never sell or trade your information to a third party for any reason. There are, however, certain circumstances in which we may share your data with certain third parties.
We will share personally identifiable information with third parties when (i) the person submitting the information authorizes us to share it, (ii) the third-party is performing a function on behalf of NFCC that is directly related to a contracted relationship between NFCC and the provider and there is specific non-disclosure language in said contract applicable to the third party, or (iii) when required by law, court order, or other government or law enforcement authority or regulatory agency; or (iv) whenever we believe that disclosing such information is necessary or advisable, for example, to protect the rights, property, or safety of North Fulton Community Charities or others.
This Donor Privacy Policy applies to all information received by North Fulton Community Charities both online and offline, as well as any electronic, written, or oral communications.
To the extent any donations are processed through a third-party payment provider, our donors’ information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation. NFCC only selects third-party providers who have conforming privacy policies.
We may obtain (i) Personal Information from third parties for marketing and business purposes. If we obtain Personal Information from third parties for any of these purposes, we will require that any third parties from whom we may obtain such Personal Information represent to us that they have acquired the Personal Information in compliance with all applicable laws and have the right to provide us such Personal Information for our marketing purposes, and (ii) we may collect Personal Information from publicly available sources.
NFCC may contact you for marketing purposes, capital campaigns or fundraising purposes. You are free to opt-out of such solicitations and your decision will have no impact on your ability to receive services from NFCC or to volunteer with us. You can email [email protected] to request to be removed from our marketing and fundraising emails. Please provide your full name and address in that email so we can be sure to mark your file as do not contact.
If you request removal of your personal information, you acknowledge that residual information may continue to reside in NFCC’s records and archives, but NFCC will not use that information for commercial purposes. NFCC reserves the right to maintain your personal information if NFCC has suspended, limited, or terminated your access to our website for violating NFCC Terms of Use.
