One of our food recovery partners brings cooked, hot chickens for our families each week from a fund set up by “The Chicken Lady” solely to serve neighbors in our care. Usually Hazel and Tony deliver 50 hot chickens from Sams but last week they brought us 100! They smell so good when they come to the pantry that it makes our volunteers hungry but we are happy that our families will enjoy a delicious hot meal that Tuesday night. Thank you, Chicken Lady!
