Job and Financial Coaching

The Workforce Development Center at NFCC provides services to help participants improve employment prospects and financial stability.

Workshops

NFCC workshops are opportunities for participants to learn new skills and network with fellow job seekers while building connections and accessing job opportunities.

Our workshops feature professionals from a variety of disciplines who volunteer their time to share expertise in personal financial management, career industry trends, as well as provide tools to help participants align financial and career goals.

Our workshops focus on both financial and career topics and often include activities that encourage goal setting and self-reflection.  Participants gain insight into personal strengths, interests, and values.

Participants must bring resume/work history to this hands-on lab.

When you know your strengths and skills and can describe them well, you can write a clearer, more persuasive resume, and provide compelling answers to questions during job interviews.

In this career development learning lab, NFCC job coaches will help you uncover and identify your top skills and talents gained through formal training, previous work experience, or personal interests. Once identified, you can use that skill set to expand or focus your job search.

You will leave the lab with a list of your strengths and skills, tailored to best promote you to potential employers.
